	Ustad Allarakha Khan
	A great personality. A thinker of the most sophisticated rhythm style which has never been easy to count. He created a new style of his own on the base of PUNJAB GHARANA which we can easily label ALLARAKHA KHAN GHARANA. Always a very humble kind and friendly person with his		disciples, he was like a responsible fatherly guardian. He was always involved in creating special rhythm patterns very different from contemporary compositions. In the classical realm, he was a tremendously powerful performer of any style of music.
	Ustad Allarakha Khan became famous in the west through performing with Pandit Ravi Shankar. Allarakha's son, Ustad Zakir Hussein, is presently the most wellknown tabla player in the world.
